I'm Youssef, a working software engineer and a computer science student. For two-plus years I've split my time between building things and trying to break them, and I've found each half makes the other sharper.

The building looks like applied AI and backend systems: agentic and retrieval-augmented tools on local and API models, the backend for a live game with a thousand-plus players, and production sites for paying clients. The breaking looks like fraud detection, access control, and hardening: designing for the attacks I've actually had to defend against.

I care about systems that hold up under real load and real adversaries, code that someone else can read six months later, and shipping things that work on day one. I'm looking for software, security, or applied-AI roles where both halves count.
